Nicole Oliveria is a fashion designer based in Dharug Country/ Western Sydney, Australia.

Born in Australia from Filipino immigrant parents, Oliveria utilisies her practice to explore ideas and themes of identity, heritage, and culture.

​

 

Oliveria’s work focuses on creating one-off ready-to-wear pieces with second-hand clothing and deadstock materials, actualising into garments that are both Filipino and Western Sydney inspired.

Oliveria is committed to continuously learning and applying sustainable methods to lessen environmental impact in practice and production, as an attempt to tackle the fashion industry’s issues of sustainability.
